HOW WILL YOU COLLECT MY INFORMATION?
When someone orders an Chilterns Pass (either through our website, mobile application, portal) we use the information collected (name, address, email and phone number) to firstly send out a pass in the post and secondly update the member (via email) on news related to the Chilterns Pass. In addition, we use e-newsletter sign-up requests, competition entries, website log files, cookies, digital analytics and registration to gather user information and to learn more about how people use our websites.
We send out regular newsletters to keep subscribers (including members) informing of deals, news and events etc. To provide these newsletters, we request contact details including but not limited to – your email address and name. We only collect this data when we have your consent and retain it on a secure database. If you withdraw consent it will be deleted with immediate effect.
If you get in touch with us via email, we will retain your email and our response to it for as long as the business issue remains. After this, the information will be deleted. If you contact us via post, we will retain your letter/postal address/personal information and our response to it for as long as the business issue remains. After this, the information will be deleted.
We use IP information to examine our traffic in aggregate and to investigate use of our website and app. Information can include what pages you visit, how long you are on the site, how you got here and what you clicked on. The information collected helps us investigate whether our websites meet the need of users as well as to evaluate how each website can be improved. But we do not collect and evaluate this information for specific individuals. The Chilterns Pass will disclose an IP address, when required by law.
